This last week I received loads of great freebies in the mail (sorry no pic). Here is a tally of some the items I received:

• Sample of John Frieda shampoo/conditioner from Wal-Mart.Com Free Samples. These samples are the perfect size for traveling, especially when traveling by air.
• $10 rebate from Kellogg's for previous purchase
• Card from White Barn for free home fragrance item (up to $12.500 in value) with any $15 purchase (I have no idea how they got my address, I'm assuming from an affiliate store)
• Savings card from The Limited for $15 off my next $15 or more purchase (Love these cards, I've received so many this year I've lost count)
• Two issues of Woman's Day from my free subscription using my Priority Club Points (You can now use your Priority Club Points for more things than just free nights at hotels. I used my points to receive free subscriptions to two different magazines!)

Yet another great freebie has arrived from Bath & Body Works. Use this coupon to receive a free Wallflower or Scentport Pluggable diffuser starter kit (up to a $12.50 value) with any purchase!!!

This is such a great deal. I'm going to be sure to get mine asap. I haven't decided what item I will purchase in order to use my coupon. I usually don't go with the cheapest item that's available, but I will buy something that is inexpensive and something that I will actually use.

In the mail, I have recently received the following items for free:

Quaker Simple Harvest sample of hot cereal & cereal bar (plus coupon)
Coupon for free panty from Victoria's Secret plus $10 off a bra
Coupon for free 2oz lotion from Bath & Body Works plus coupon for 20% entire purchase
Bounce dryer sheet sample

How do I always get such great freebies? First, I always check out Walmart.com for their free samples. There are usually great items & often come with coupons. I also apply for free offers over the Internet, so long as I know they are legit. Finally, I always try to sign up for free coupons, promos, and newsletters for stores that I like to frequent.

As you can see, I received coupons for free items from two different stores this time. For me this is great, because what girl doesn't like to shop? What I plan on doing is taking the coupons for free items from Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secret and making a shopping day out of it. I will window shop and use my coupons for freebies, all the while having a fun day without spending money.

Free cereal

I just got back from Wal-Mart & discovered that in the cereal aisle, there were several bags of the Try Me Size Malt O Meal cereals (15 oz) for available for $1. Normally, this size bag is only located in sales stands in between or an the end of aisles, but not this time. This time the cereal was right next to all the other Malt O Meals bags of cereal. So, if you still have any of those $1 off any Malt O Meal product coupons you could get this cereal for free.

My coupons expire Sept 23, so I made sure to get my two bags today. I have been unable to locate any new coupons yet, but will update you if I do. I'm also not sure if all Wal-Marts are currently carrying this size bag for $1, but if you are already going to Wal-Mart & have the coupons it wouldn't hurt to look.

Motivating Monday: Partnership Plus

Today I wanted to let everyone in on a money-making program that I have been participating for several months called Partnership Plus. Before writing about it, I wanted to make sure that it was legit & that I would actually get paid for participation. Well, just a few days ago I received my first payment....a $10 gift card to the store of my choosing.

Partnership Plus in an online survey type program that deals specifically with clothing. Basically, at the beginning of each month you submit information regarding clothing purchases that you made for yourself. Each monthly survey that you submit earns points. After you accumulated a certain number of points, you cash them in for either a check for a specified dollar amount or a gift card of your choosing from a participating merchant. I choose to go ahead and get a gift card with my points, but I could have very easily waited and received a larger gift card or check.

This program is very easy to use and offers lots of ways to earn extra points. I thought the process was going to be slow and painful, but in actuality it was simple and quick. It only took a few minutes every month for me to complete my surveys and get rewarded for my time. Now that I have personally used Partnership Plus I would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for easy ways to earn a little extra spending money.

This past week I had some wonderful freebies come in the mail. I received a single serve cereal box, Biore samples, Sunsilk samples, a card (romance card), & a coupon for $3 off any purchase at Dominoes, In addition to these wonderful freebies, most of them came with coupons.

Usually, I sign up for all my freebies/samples at Walmart.Com, but occasionally I will sign up for others if I know they are valid. I love getting single serve sized food samples because they are great to take on the road or to work. Whenever I get samples of face wash, hair products, etc...I always save them for trips or vacation because they are the perfect amount & fit nicely in the quart sized Ziploc bags allowed for air travel.

Free Southern Style Chicken Sandwich

Get your coupon for a Free Southern Style Chicken Sandwich or Biscuit with the purchase of a medium drink at McDonald's. I personally have had this particular biscuit before and while it is not my favorite, I'm sure I will love it when it is free!

Free McDonald's Coupons in the mail

I was very pleased when I opened my Charter Communications bill today and discovered coupons for McDonald's inside. I received two coupons for free items, 1 for the new Southern Style Chicken Biscuit & 1 for the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich, and they do not expire until 6/30/08. So, if you use Charter, check your bill this month to see if you received coupons too.

Free Kashi

I used my $2 off Kashi coupon at the small super Walmart in my town today. I bought 2 packages of oatment that were $2.76/box, so I paid $1.52 OOP for the boxes. The cereal was on sale for $2.50/box, but I have lots of cereal & desperately need oatmeal. Well, to my surprise, I found out that the larger super Wal-mart in the town next to me had the Kashi cereal on sale for only $2/box. So if I had waited to make my purchase I would have saved money, but at least I got a deal anyway.
