October Super Savings Recap

October was a very light month for me in the means of Super Savings Saturday. I didn't do as much shopping as normal, but I still had some great savings. Here is a recap of my Super Savings Saturdays for October.

Subtotal of products purchased: $251.97
Total spent out of pocket: $38.43(includes tax)
Total Extra Care Bucks (CVS) earned: $28.32
Total Register Rewards (Walgreens)earned: $7.00
Total Walgreens Rebates earned: $25.83
Total Manufacturer Rebates earned: $1.99

My out of pocket savings was approximately 85%! These totals only include my purchases that were included in Super Savings Saturdays. Out of the above totals I have appx $9 ECBs remaining, approximately $40 on my Walgreens rebate gift card (for purchases made in Sept & Oct), & I have yet to receive my manufacturer rebate of $1.99.

Super Savings Saturday: Great savings on food


This week I only went to a few places, but came out with great savings on a lot of food. Here is what I did. In the picture I only show a few of the Michelina's frozendinners, but I actually purchased about 40 of them because my husband likes them for lunch & I like to eat them when he is out of town so I don't have to do any cooking. Since buying them I have tried a few flavors & they are quite good, even the low fat ones.
